.Flaxseed Gel and Aleo Vera
Naturally rich in mucilage, giving the formulation its characteristic slip and helping strands glide past one another during detangling.

Coconut Oil
A well-studied hair oil with an affinity for the hair fibre. Coconut oil has been shown to help reduce protein loss from hair when appropriately used.

Olive Oil
A rich emollient oil that coats and conditions dry strands, helping improve softness and manageability.

Rose Water
Provides the water phase of this fresh botanical formulation while bringing the familiar delicacy of rose to the detangling ritual.

Honey
A natural humectant used to help attract and retain moisture.

How to Use

Section the hair before detangling.

Apply Botanical Detangler generously to the lengths and ends, concentrating on tangled areas.

Allow the product to soften the hair before gently separating larger knots with your fingers.

Working from the ends upwards toward the roots, detangle using your fingers or a wide-tooth comb/bamboo detangling tool.

Add more product where necessary rather than forcing the comb through resistant knots.

Proceed with your usual wash-day routine or styling routine.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Patch test before first use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children. Made in an environment that handles nuts.

FRESH FORMULATION — KEEP REFRIGERATED

This is a freshly made AfroHairCandy formulation created without conventional synthetic preservation systems. Store refrigerated immediately upon receipt and between uses.

Shelf life: 6 months when stored as directed.

Always use clean hands/tools when dispensing and close securely after use. Do not use if the product develops an unexpected change in smell, colour, texture or appearance.

Dry or tangled hair, tightly coiled textures, wash day, children’s detangling where age-appropriate, post-braid takedown, protective-style removal, shed-hair removal and anyone trying to minimise unnecessary breakage during detangling.

Returns & Refunds

Once your order has been shipped, delivered, or taken home, we do not accept returns or exchanges.  If damage of goods occurs during shipping, we will review each case individually for an exchange.

All of our harvest formulas are hand-prepared in small seasonal batches, following the natural rhythms of our sourcing and production.

Please allow 7–10 working days for your order to be carefully processed, prepared, and dispatched. Each parcel is handled with the care your ritual deserves.

For international orders, kindly allow an additional 5–7 working days following dispatch to accommodate customs clearance and international delivery procedures, depending on your location.
